The
SDR-120 sound level recorder has the same characteristics than our SDR-100
device. The SDR-120 has a visual display. This display represents the sound
levels pressure of the premise where it is installed, in dB(A), measured further
the interval of time chose by the fitter, between one and sixty seconds,
presented as Leq 60" in dB(A).
One of the
objectives of the sound level recorder is to determine the periods of activity
of the source of noise, thanks to the system of sensors. Another characteristic
of the device is its inviolability. We lay out a monitoring system thanks to the
sensor (microphone) which makes possible to detect possible handling. Inside the
sensor, you have the Speaker/Amplifier/Converter D/A chain which has to detect
the no-handling of these elements. Thus, a noise test (pink noise) is emitted.
The both sensitivity/effectiveness of the period must remain constant throughout
the sessions.
The device can be
programmed as a sonographe or as a recorder, like our SDR-100 device. The
SDR-120 and our Sound Ambience Supervisor devices can be integrated in the "Environmental
Noise Monitoring System", defined by Pd
de Audio, thanks to sending the data of the noisy sessions to the management
system, using the GSM network, by SMS.
Our Sound Ambience
Supervisor (SAS) is intended for the market of the formation and social
awakening concerning the problem of the noise.
Agitation is
currently a social organizer and the fruit of productive situations, but we are
not conscious of the noise levels produced by this agitation. The installation
of a device in rooms and recreation zones of schools, on working places,
basically in areas where, by nature, the tranquility must reign and where the
obtained noise evels are relatively important due to the producers. So, the
installation of devices which indicate the ambience type existant in a room such
as " Normal Ambience ", " Noisy Ambience " and " Very Noisy Ambience " seems to
be most adequate that the indication of the noise level which can be regarded as
a technical data for the majority of the population. Thus, the noise level and
the ambience type in a local are put in adequacy for each type of premise,
knowing that the qualification of "noisy" depends more about the use of a local
than about the sound level pressure existing in this one.
These devices are
mainly intended for the schools (room and recreation zones), Hospitals attempt
rooms (urgencies), working places... etc.
The SDR-120 and the
SAS devices continuously take a sample of Leq 60", in a periodic way. This
period has to be determined during the SDR-100 device programming. Thus, the
inspection will give us the 3000 latest recorded samples, divided in sessions
determined by the activity of the source.
The installation
and modification of the parameters are made with our own software : GestionSDR.
It is protected with various electronic keys:
> Program password > Apparatus password > Print of the program.
For a commodity
inspection, you can read the data thanks to a laptop. This one can read and
transfer them to a PC. This last one thanks to the Inspection program (our
software GestionSDR), treats the data and works out an activity report of the
device.
